lunch at the Shang

This afternoon, in the midst of a light dizzle, I met my colleagues for lunch buffet at the Rose Veranda at the Shangri-La Hotel. It was ... posh. They have a selection of 101 tea to choose from (coolness!) and a variety of food. The variety wasn't fantastic, but the quality of the food, as well as the ambience of the place and service was great. The desserts were my favourite. :) pretty little things and yummilicious as well.

Well, it is Angie's birthday today (Happy 25th Birthday girl!) And Cindy's leaving for Laos tmr. Kim and I will be joining her shortly. I'm so looking forward to it. Btw, dun worry C, i'm sure it'd be a great experience! Will be praying for you while u're away and I'm gonna miss you!

Anyway, i think its great to have colleagues who actually want to hang out outside the office and outside of office hours. I think having great colleagues is imperative to a conducive working environment. So thank God for such wonderful people. =)
