My CNY hols...

I had badly wanted to have a break this CNY. I mean, how often does one have a long weekend? Unfortunately, I had to nurse a blocked nose and sore throat (which was duely eradicated with the help of excessive xiang sang ju - chinese herbal tea) which resulted in sleepless nights, and an very bad mood. I spent a lot of time sleeping away at my grandmother's place... which i guess its good in a way.... at least I got some rest.

Monday was spent editing students' written speeches for an upcoming public speaking competition that nearly made me tear my hair out. Not only was i quite pissed coz of the ergonomics of my home computer table and chair, but also coz it was seriously torturous trying to edit their speeches. I seriously had to guess what it is they were trying to drive at. I literally spent the whole day in front of the com (minus meal times) editing a mere 5 speeches.

Tuesday was YPF visitation day. Much time was spent travelling to and fro. Not that i mind though, coz i love long bus rides. To Bishan, to Thomson Plaza, to WZ's place, to Bishan again, and back to my place. haha... the youths were mostly sleeping in the bus, probably tired out from the journey. But it was nice lar. Quite an unusual experience. =)
