Its a small world afterall

I discovered yet again, that this is a small world. And Singapore is a small island situated in this small world.

Was chatting with my colleague Angie just the other day about our schools, and i realised that she was from the same primary school, CHIJ KC Primary, as I was. Mind you, we are of the same age, so technically, we should have somehow met one another when we were little kids. Also, our primary school was formed from a merger of 2 other schools. That is to say, when i was in primary 2, the primary school that I was in...i.e. CHIJ Opera Estate merged with primary school Katong Convent to form primary school CHIJ KC Primary. and Angie said that she was from Opera Estate too! haha.. we are reminiscing about our old school building, how it was spooky and stuff. =) Its really such a small world aint it?

Plus my colleague Em also happens to be the school mate of my sister, and of the same year too!

And Ernest actually used to be the cluster leader for the cell grp in which my sister was part of when she was in Singapore. My parents and grandmother worship in the same church as he is..and even before he joined me as a colleague, he had already been to my house! (just that i happen to be out that day!) haha... when we found out all these 'coincidences', we were really quite amused.

Having all these links obviously brought my relationship with these colleagues to a deeper level, knowing that we shared similar experiences, and probably had similar histories and stories. It sort of connects us by this invisible cord, and it invariably pulls us closer.

But the world being as small as it is, made me realise the importance to be people who are true. Hypocrisy and dishonesty and masks can be exposed in due time. What goes around comes around. One day, history will come catching up to you.

yeah... but sorry, no matter how hard I think, I still can't recall who Em is... memory blackout for those Victorian days.
