Unnoticed, unaware
Of me, they pass me by
Each day, every day
As I stood against the rain
The winds, the storm
Here amongst others, different
Day by day
One wish
One reason for living
That someday someone would notice
me
small, little insignificant
me
That someone would realise the beauty that lies
within me
Suddenly2 feet closed in on me
A shiny object pointing at me
Blocking my ray of light
A sudden flash
brighter than the sun
A sudden ray
Surer than hope
A sudden realisation
that this is the moment I had been living for
A recognition
a picture of me,
to last forever
Of insignificant me...
insignificant no more
at least, not to this one her
she who noticed
me
