more bday updates

It seems quite innane to be updating every single thing with regards to my bday. Narcissistic even, perhaps. But all i really wanna do is to remember the people who loves me. (especially the year where i turn a quarter of a century old. I dunno why...but 25 seems like its gonna be a turning pt of sorts) Perhaps this is one day in my life where I feel like I've made a difference . When I graduated from NUS, I set myself a life motto. Something to drive and motivate me. Something to foundationalise the things I do. I never did tell many people what it was. Perhaps my sister and xhong. :) And it is "To be different, and to make a difference". Vague I know. Sounds easy? But it isn't. At least not to make a positive and significant enough difference.



Anyway, I met Marc, WL, Meiyun & Darius for dinner last night. Got a dinner treat. heh. It was really really nice catching up with them. D's sharing sometimes left me speechless. I'm so amazed to see the way God is working in him and through him, and the way he spontaneously shared his testimony, shared about his past so as to bring across examples of how we can help the younger ones who have gone thru major family events in their young lives. I felt a little pang in my heart as I hear them talk about the members of the YPF in TBC. But just as I heard Nicole share about the YPF in TSBC, I'm greatly heartened.

1 fellowship becoming 2 was never an easy thing. But i really see their spiritual growth spurt. I suddenly see spiritual giants in these young ones. And I'm filled with great thanksgiving. Indeed, God is amazing in the way He makes use of struggles to build His children.
