my weekend

saturday.

some of my y w a m female foreign classmates came over to my place for a swim. My mum graciously prepared lunch for them. :) I'm glad to be able to bless them with the facilities at my place. They sure looked like they had fun swimming in the sun, and just getting out of base. And for the rest of the day, i slept.

sunday.

met wl, rene, chien and eugene for breakfast. I guess i just needed to talk to someone with regards to things i've been thinking about, feeling about, struggling with, and when i shared with wl, i just started crying. perhaps it was just one way for me to release the tensions i've been carrying inside me for the past week, and perhaps its just how much i desired for someone to just speak with. and God knows how much I really needed to hear someone pray for me and with me.

ELBC was celebrating its 43rd anniversary. Kinda makes me miss TSBC. But i'm happy for them. Praying that God will bless the church mightily. Had the opportunity to speak with my sister's friends who are worshipping there, as well as some of the other church members. and it was nice, just chatting. :)

went to orchard to get some stuff, and on the way back, dad smsed me to tell me that mum sprained her ankle. I thot it wasn't anything serious, so i really didn't thought much about it. Until mum called me to say that they wanted to go to TTSH A&E. I got down the bus, and tried to hail a cab, but failed. Thankfully, joel was ard the neighbourhood, so he was kind enough to do me and my family a great favor by giving us a lift to the hospital.

waited, waited and waited. Mum apparently has gotten a hairline fracture on her feet, and thus, she's in cast and crutches.
