The kids really took the effort to dress up. Some of the guys came in suits, and black shoes and they looked absolutely stunning. Some even came in hats. haha. think Michael Buble. :)
It somehow seemed more like a fashion parade for the guys than it was for the girls. But i think they had fun. I hoped they enjoyed the show nonetheless, though they may not have been able to catch all the political nuances peppering the show. To be able to dress up and mingle in the "highclass" crowd, being able to watch a musical (Cat 2 seats nonetheless!) in the esplanade was a new and unforgettable experience for them.
I had fun watching Dim Sum Dollies "The History of Singapore" yet again. Last year, I caught it with my colleagues and their spouses, and this year, I watched it with some other colleagues and our students. It was 95% the same, with a few impromptu comments about more recent events, but all the same, I loved the show, the songs and the wisecracks. I'm a big fan of the Dim Sum Dollies! :)
Looking forward to Broadway Beng in April. heh heh.
